I Do Cakes:

My name is Megan Gotliffe and I am the owner of I Do Cakes. I started baking at a young age, but my love of baking as an artform sparked while attending Wake Tech for culinary school. I knew after the first cake decorating class this is what I was meant to do! During my time at Wake TechI held an internship at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, where I was allowed to express my creativity and fine tunemy decorating skills. From PrestonwoodI went on to hold positions all over the triangle, including Bittersweet, Mandolin, and most recently The Umstead Hotel & Spa. I Do Cakes was started in 2014 as a small side business while I soaked up as much pastry knowledge as I could. Last year, with the birth of my son, it became full time! I believe wedding cakes should taste as good as they look, so my goal with I Do Cakes is to create a stunning piece of art that will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. We are known for having a wide variety of unique flavor combinations to choose from for your special day. Check out a full list on our website,
